Taihei Dengyo's main areas of business are the engineering work associated with the construction and maintenance of industrial plant such as thermal and nuclear power stations, geothermal power stations, clean energy, steelmaking, petrochemicals, cement, waste disposal, and recycling facilities and theme parks. The work carried out at the company's main design divisions covers a wide range including mechanical design, electrical and instrumentation design, work planning, technical development, civil and construction design, and field engineering. The Project Implementation Department is responsible for overseas work. The design and project departments are mainly based at Taihei Dengyo's Tokyo headquarters, although engineers are also stationed at the main branch offices where they can deal with customers.
